Creative workspace pioneer, Mashmellow, opens workshop as part of Southeast Asian expansion plans

Personalized co-working space targets entrepreneurs who want to both work and play

Bangkok, Thailand – Mashmellow, Bangkok’s newest and most creative co-working space, is set to open its first ever workshop/ seminar room at its flagship premises in Ekamai, which will allow members of the small, local hub to collaborate and exchange ideas in a more fun and flexible environment.

Available to all members from June, 2018, the workshop adds to Mashmellow’s extensive facilities, which includes 10 private offices, two meeting rooms, a conference room and a spacious co-working area. There are also two ‘nap’ rooms, a pantry, private storage, and even onsite-showers to ensure visitors remain rejuvenated and ready to realize their dreams.

“As an increasing number of Bangkok start-ups, entrepreneurs, and young professionals are looking for flexibility in how, where and when they work, we wanted to create an environment that was fun and relaxed, yet also productive and inspirational. That is the vibe we are creating at Mashmellow, and what makes us different from other co-working hubs in Bangkok,” said Nadol Jayapani, Founder of Mashmellow.

“As a small and local hub, we are able to work closely with everyone who steps through the door and assist our clients with every need. We also curate a variety of workshops, networking events, and host personal members-only pitch days with our investors,” said Mr Nadol.

The idea for Mashmellow – a place where people can come and ‘mash’ their ideas together in a ‘mellow’ environment – was born in the latter part of 2016, and its first premises, a minimal-designed industrial loft situated in the prime location of central Ekamai, opened in August, 2017. While another two Mashmellow Bangkok branches are scheduled to open in early 2019, Mr Nadol also plans to expand beyond the capital in the coming years.

“We want to connect similar-minded people by building an eco system of creative workspaces, alongside thought-leading networking events across Southeast Asia, and ultimately lead the ASEAN market by adhering to Mashmellow’s chief tenants of WORK + PLAY + INSPIRE,” said Mr Nadol.
